Christian Dietrich

Product Manager Cloud Services, Swisscom

Christian Dietrich serves as Product Manager for Cloud Services, overseeing both Swisscom’s Kubernetes Service and their Enterprise Application Cloud. Prior to joining Swisscom in 2024, he spent 14 years developing his IT expertise at Deutsche Telekom in Germany. Christian earned a BEng in Telecommunication and a MSc in Computing.

Fabio Berchtold

Tech Lead for Swisscom Kubernetes Platform, Swisscom

Fabio Berchtold is a Lead Engineer at Swisscom, with over 22 years of experience. He architects cloud-native solutions and leads the development of Swisscom’s next-gen Kubernetes platform. Fabio specializes in resilient, automated infrastructure, contributes to open source, and shares practical strategies for scalable, modern application delivery.

Samuel Alfageme Sainz

Cloud Adoption and Reliability Engineering, Switch

Samuel Alfageme Sainz was born in rural Spain in the '90s and has spent the last 10 years working closely with open source and cloud native communities on public and private companies, R&D, education, and science.

Since 2023, he has been involved in the development of Switch Cloud Kubernetes, accelerating the adoption of cloud-native technologies in the Swiss higher education sector.

Sandro Mathys

Product Owner of Switch Cloud Kubernetes

Sandro Mathys is a seasoned systems engineer with more than a decade of experience in cloud technologies, including many years of working extensively with Kubernetes. He joined Switch some five years ago, where he focuses on promoting Kubernetes adoption and making it more accessible and its use more efficient and cost-effective for Swiss research and higher education institutions.

Moath Qasim

VP of Engineering at Kubermatic

Moath Qasim is a strategic and results-driven engineering leader with over a decade of experience in the cloud-native and enterprise software sectors. As the current VP of Engineering at Kubermatic, Moath leads organizational scaling and aligns complex technical execution with high-level product visions to deliver enterprise-grade Kubernetes solutions.
